Engineering Manager – Video/Streaming Platform - Copenhagen

We’re incredibly excited to be working with one of Europe’s most exciting tech startups, as they continue their journey of becoming the leader in their space.

As part of that journey, they’re looking to add an experienced Engineering Manager to their team with a background in Video / Streaming platforms.

The Role

You’ll be heading up a team of eight engineers working on a platform which encompasses both video recording & livestreams.

Your job? To foster a culture of high-performance, quality output & creating an environment where your team create a beautiful customer experience.

With that in mind, you’ll need to have a background working on video platforms & experience building GPUs. The engineers you’ll be managing usually work with the likes of C++, Rust, Falcon etc - so you'll need to be from a software engineering background yourself.

If you have experience in CUDA, Vulkan, HIP or similar - you could be the perfect person for his role. 

The Company

With a headcount of approximately 400 employees already, they’re in a great position already. That said, they’re looking to grow by another 200-300 people in the next three years – so this is a great time to join!
Their platform is used by analysts across the world to record, analyse & review the performance of their team consistently.

Having visited their offices, I can honestly say they are the coolest ones I’ve had the pleasure of being in. Based in Copenhagen, they really value onsite work & most people are in the office for the majority of the week. They approach this in a very trust-driven way though, and you’re free to decide when you’re in the office or at home.

The Hiring Process
  1. Call with hiring manager (VP Engineering) – 30-45 minutes
  2. Technical interview with VP, Principal Engineer & Product Lead – 60-90 minutes
  3. Cultural interview – internal team – 30 minutes
  4. Chat with CTO – 30 minutes
Depending on availability, the final three stages could be merged into one day.
